Challenge
Zain Telecom publishes annual company reports in PDF and printable formats. While these formats were effective for distribution, they sought a more dynamic, web-based solution that would allow users to view the reports interactively on their website. Our task was to create an online report on their existing WordPress website.
They needed a system that was easy to manage, aligned with their existing brand and design, and allowed the publishing team to update reports without requiring technical expertise.
Solution
To address these challenges, we built an interactive online report on the Gutenberg editor using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create custom Gutenberg blocks.
Custom Gutenberg Blocks with ACF
We developed custom Gutenberg blocks tailored to Zain Telecom’s reporting requirements. These blocks were created using ACF, allowing maximum flexibility and ease of use. The blocks could be dynamically adjusted to include various types of content like text sections, charts, tables, and images.
Easy Content Management
With ACF-powered custom blocks, Zain Telecom’s team can easily update reports within the WordPress dashboard. The blocks are intuitive, requiring no coding knowledge to format or publish new reports.
