B2B customer portals that just work. Live in 90 days.

Codup launches customer portals for distributors in 90 days. They’re connected to your ERP, they’re on your sales team’s side, and they’re easy enough that customers keep coming back. That’s how the portal pays for itself.

Previously… From Part One. 6:34 am. Dave, in his hard hat, taps his phone outside: Forget it. I'll order from the guys with the portal. His phone shows Order placed.
Part Two: same night, different ending

Same night. Different ending.

Last time, Dave texted his order at 9:12 pm. Mike was up past 10:40 hunting for Dave’s price, and by 6:34 am Dave had walked out to “the guys with the portal.” Then Frank’s shop launched its own portal, in 90 days. Here’s the same night, take two.

9:12 pm · The customer

Customers actually use it, and come back.

Their own price, live stock and a one-tap reorder of last time’s order, even at 9 pm from a job site. When ordering from you is the easiest option, they keep ordering from you.

Does Dave ever come back? He does.

Day 90, go-live, 9:12 pm, the job site. Dave, in his hard hat, grins at his phone. It shows Frank's Fastener Supply with his price, In stock, and a Reorder button. Dave: Well, look who finally got a portal.
9:14 pm · The sales rep

Works with your sales team, not against them.

Every web order is credited to the rep who owns the account, at the customer’s own price. Reps stop re-typing orders and looking up prices at night, and spend that time selling.

Does Mike finally figure out the pricing? The portal already did.

9:14 pm, Mike's kitchen. Mike eats dinner with his toddler on his lap. His phone on the table reads New order: Dave, credited to Mike. Mike: Dave got his price. I got the credit.
6:30 am · The counter and the warehouse

Fully connected to your ERP.

Pricing, stock, bin locations and orders flow between the portal and the ERP you already run. No one re-types an order, and the counter sees exactly what the customer ordered.

Is Joe still looking for that box? Not anymore.

6:30 am, the will-call counter. Joe, a warehouse picker, hands Dave a box of 3/8 brackets. Joe: Bin C-14. No hunting. Edith, at a screen reading Dave, picked, bin C-14: Morning, Dave. It's already pulled.
Two weeks later · The job site

Same-day refills, ordered mid-job.

When a crew runs short, the order goes in from the phone in their pocket, against live branch stock, in time for your same-day run. It’s what contractors keep asking for, and what most distributors want to offer.

Did Dave climb down to call it in? Never left the scaffold.

Two weeks later, 11:05 am, mid-job. Dave stands on a scaffold with a drill in one hand and his phone in the other, next to an empty box of wall anchors. An inset shows his phone: Frank's Fastener Supply, Same-day delivery, Arrives by 2 pm. Dave: Out of anchors. They'll be here by two. Never left the scaffold.
Month end · Finance

The books reconcile. The business never stops.

Every portal order lands in the ERP as an ordinary sales order, with the right account, price and tax, so month-end reports tie out without re-keying. Going live doesn’t pause the counter, the warehouse or the close.

Andy runs Frank’s finance. He’s hard to impress.

Month end, Frank's office. Andy, the finance manager, shows Frank a laptop reading Month-end close: Portal orders checked, ERP checked, Reconciled. Andy: Every portal order is already in the ERP. The books tie out. Frank: And nobody had to stop working? Andy: Not for a day.
Six months later · The owner

It pays for itself.

Six months later, Frank's office. Frank, the owner, leans back with his hands behind his head, looking at a chart climbing upward. Frank: Huh. It already paid for itself.

A Codup comic ·  Part Two

Frank's one regret. Frank sits on his desk holding a coffee mug and looks at the reader: Two years to decide. Ninety days to do it.

So what’s really in the way? Let’s get real at the Spark Session.

Most distributors don’t wait two years because of the build. They wait because of the ERP, the sales team’s worries, and the fear that nobody will use it. Asim’s session walks through how to launch in 90 days anyway, and what to expect once you’re live.

Why trust us with the 90 days?

Because we’ve done it for manufacturers and distributors with messy catalogs, picky ERPs and dealers who don’t like change.

DMF Lighting

Millions of product configurations, quoted online

Reps and distributors were quoting a hugely configurable catalog by hand. Codup built a CPQ on Shopify Plus, connected to Oracle.

If it slows down how you sell, quote or serve, come talk to us.

Dealers calling for prices. Reps typing orders from emails. Warranty claims in an inbox. An ERP nobody wants to touch. If something in how you sell feels harder than it should, we’ve probably built a fix for it, or we’ll tell you honestly that we haven’t.

What we’ve built

Working tools, not slides. Each one connects to your ERP, and each one is a quick demo away.

Contractor and distributor portal

Contract pricing, job-coded ordering, BOM upload to quote to order, and branch-level stock, built for phones.

Product configurator

Walks buyers through specs, checks what fits together, and returns a unique SKU, a spec sheet and a live price.

Price and availability checker

A phone app for contractors, counter staff and field reps: real-time price and branch stock from your ERP, no app store.

AI order automation

Order sheets, even messy scans, are read and written into your ERP at the customer’s contract price. Live in weeks, no portal needed.

Part One · from the e-blast
Part One, six panels. 9:12 pm, the job site: Dave, in his hard hat, frowns at his phone: That's not my price. And where's the stock? So Dave does what Dave always does: he texts, pls send 40 x the 3/8 brackets + same as last order. 9:14 pm, Mike's kitchen: Mike, holding his toddler at dinner, reads the text: This guy again. Mike, I need some help here! 10:40 pm: Mike in bed with a laptop and papers: What did we charge him last time?! 6:30 am, the will-call counter: Edith tells Dave: Honey, it's not in the system. Let me go see. 6:34 am: Dave walks out, tapping his phone: Forget it. I'll order from the guys with the portal. His phone shows Order placed.
